Church of St Augustine, located 10 km east of Panaji, Goa, at a walking distance from Basilica of Bom Jesus, is in ruins.
The church built between 1597 and 1602 CE was abandoned in 1835 CE. Different parts collapsed over the years and the ruins are protected today.
The ancient bell that once adored the Church has been removed and kept at Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church at Panaji.
