Nobles’ Quarters is located in Hampi, Karnataka, near underground Siva Temple.
This is where the Noble men (aristocrats) used to live during Vijayanagara times. The ruins in the form of foundations are spread over a vast area.
Most of the residential quarters are rectangular in shape and well laid out. It’s believed that high ranking officers, military commanders, ambassadors and visiting dignitaries from abroad lived here.
One could climb up on to the viewing platform to have a look of the entire area.
