Shri Jagat Shiromani Temple, Jaipur, Rajasthan is located in Amer, a short walk away from Amer Fort car parking area.
It was constructed between 1599 and 1608 CE by Queen Kanakwati, during the reign of Man Singh I, in memory of their son Jagat Singh.
The Krishna idol here is the same as that Sant Meera Bai used to worship in the State of Mewar.
The temple is highly ornate, and features extensive sculpturing in stone and marble. It pays glowing testimony to the art, craft and architecture of those times.
An amazing piece of history!
