Aprameya Swamy (Navaneetha Krishna) temple, Dodda Malluur in Channapatna is located 62 km south-west of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The temple is ancient, said to have been there since Thetha Yuga. The current structure is built in 11th century CE by Cholas.

The temple is said to have been visited by Rishi Kanva, Rishi Kashyapa, Ramanuja, Vyasaraya and Purandaradasa. The famous Kriti ‘Jagadodharana Adisidale Yashoda’ was composed by Purandaradasa in appreciation of Aprameya Swamy here.

An amazing creation that’s 1000 years old!
