Ghavi Guhe, Kaiwara, Karnataka is located 80 km north-east of Bengaluru. Saint and Poet Nareyanappa (1730 – 1840 CE), also known as Kaiwara Thattaiya, meditated and attained enlightenment here in the Ghavi cave.
The Yoganarasimha swamy Temple at Vaikunta hill is located in the Ghavi Guhe complex.
Amaranarayana temple, Nareyana Ashram, Bhima-Bakasura betta (hill) and Bhimeswara temple are the significant places to see in Kaiwara.
Kaiwara is ancient, and has been around since Krutha yuga!
