Thiruparuthikundram Jain Temple, also known as the Trilokyanatha Temple, Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu, is located 4 km south-west of Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple.
Its origins trace back to the Pallava times, with the oldest section built in 6th century CE by King Simhavishnu, and later expanded in 8th century by Narasimhavarman II. Over the centuries, the temple was further developed and renovated by Chola kings and Vijayanagara Rulers, including the construction of grand Sangeetha Mandapam in 1387 CE.
The temple’s architecture follows Dravidian style with a circular vimana (Gajaprishta) for Garbha griha. The Temple is renowned for its exquisite ceiling murals using natural vegetable dyes.
