The Chitragupta Swamy Temple, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, is located 1 km south of Kamakshi Amman Temple.
This rare and unique Temple dedicated to Chitragupta was built by the Cholas in the 9th century CE, though legends suggest an earlier origin.
The temple underwent renovations in 1918 and 1994.
