Kailasagiri cave temples are located 40 km north of Kolar, Karnataka.
A short trek up the hill takes us to the cave gates. It’s manmade.
A large hall, walk-ways, corridors and a few temples are rock-cut in to a large monolith.
The work is still in progress.
Kaiwara, an ancient historic place, is located 9 km south-west of Kailasagiri.
