Jal Mahal (Water Palace) is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Built in 1699 in the middle of Man Sagar lake, it was renovated and expanded during early 18th century CE, by Raja Jai Singh II.
The palace built in red sandstone is a five-storied building.
The man-made Man Sagar lake has its dam structure on the eastern side. A walking track through the northern side of the lake takes us to the Dam structure that’s still intact!
The lake is frequented by migratory birds.
Jal Mahal – an amazing feat indeed!
