The Memorial Stupa, also known as the Thimphu Chorten, is located in Thimphu, Bhutan.
The stupa, built in 1974 in memory of the third Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck (1928–1972), is a prominent landmark in the city with its golden spires and bells. It was renovated in 2008.
Designed in Tibetan style with ground plus 2 floors, the inside of the Stupa is accessible for public.
