The Sisodia Palace and Rani Ka Bagh (garden) are located 5 km south-east of Hawa Mahal in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh built the palace and the garden in 1728 CE for Maharani Sisodia from Udaipur.
Being one of the largest gardens in Jaipur, it has lush green trees, floral beds, multi-layered garden terraces, pavilions, shrines, murals, frescoes, paintings, and fountains.
The double-storied palace is at the top terrace of the garden – overlooking the entire garden. A unique feature of the architecture is that all the staircases of the multi-level gardens appear concealed, and not visible.
A sumptuous, calm and serene place!
