Wayanad - Tea Fields

Wayanad – Tea Fields

Tea fields of Wayanad, Kerala are beautiful!

Planting was started in the district around 1896 by Britishers. The hilly region where nature provides a soothing climate is well-suited for plantations.

After Munnar, Wayanad is the second most important tea plantation area in Kerala. There’s also a Tea Museum in Achoor Estate to understand more about tea.

With its rolling hills, grass lands, forests, waterfalls, spice gardens, coffee plantations and Tea fields, Wayanad is beautiful!
