Parunthumpara view point is located 26 km south-west of Kumily, Kerala.
The steep fall (suicide point) and Tagore Head (a rock that appears to be in the shape of Tagore) are interesting to see.
The viewpoint provides spectacular 360 degree view of Peerumedu hills, Sabarimala forests and Periyar Tiger Reserve.
