Karumadikkuttan, the Budha statue of 11th century CE, is located in Karumady, 17 km south of Alappuzha, Kerala.
The left part of the 3 feet tall, black granite statue, is missing.
Karumady is scenic, calm and serene! Probably this is the only Budha relic that we find in Kerala.
The monument is under the care of Kerala Archaeological Department.
