Kaup light house is located in Kapu (Kaup), 14 km south of Udupi, Karnataka.
The light house was commissioned in 1935 and has stood here for so many years guiding sailors and ships. It’s 34 metre tall.
Public are allowed to climb up; the circular stairs keep getting steeper as we ascend.
