Dichpally Ramalayam is located 19 Kms south-east of Indhoor / Nizamabad, Telangana.
Known also as Indhoor Khajuraho, the temple was built in 13th Century CE by Kakatiyas. It’s perched on a hillock with 105 steps leading to it.
Unique architecture, carvings and craftsmanship on white and black basalt stones are bound to leave us awe-struck!
For some unknown reason, Dichpally Ramalayam remained incomplete and possibly with out an idol for substantial length of time after its construction. The current idols were installed in the year 1949.
