Kudli (Koodli) is located 17 Kms north-east of Shivamogga (Shimoga) at the confluence of rivers Thunga and Bhadra.
Kudli has 1800+ years of recorded history.
The Rameswara temple built in 12th century CE is still intact. It’s a relatively less-ornate Hoysala temple – in that sense a unique one.
The Sangam (confluence) of rivers Thunga and Bhadra is a beauty to behold!
