84 Ghats of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, starting from Assi Ghat in the south to Adi Keshava (Varuna) Ghat in the north spans close to 7 Kms.
The Ghats are spread between where the river Assi meets River Ganga (Assi Ghat) and river Varuna meets River Ganga (Varuna Ghat).
The Ghats have their own significance. Still, some important Ghats include Assi Ghat, Dashashwamedh Ghat (Where Ganga Aarti happens every evening), Manikarnika Ghat and Harishchandra Ghat (Where cremations keep happening endlessly), and Pancha Ganga Ghat.
