Needle Rock view point – located 8 kms east of Gudalur, Tamilnadu, on Gudalur – Ooty road – is a spectacular place!
The view point also known as Oosi malai and Soochi malai gets its name from its conical shape.
The 360 degree views from here are breath-taking – with forests, grasslands, hills, valleys, Mudumalai WLS, Gudalur town and verdant landscapes of Nilgiris.
One wouldn’t feel like leaving this awe-inspiring place – that’s the only caveat!
