Balmuri falls is situated 9 km east of Brindavan gardens and 16 km north of Mysore, Karnataka.

The lovely cascade is formed by overflowing waters across a check dam built on river Kaveri. One may not find the six feet cascade gushing down at great speeds unless the dam is open to release water.
Ranganathittu Bird sanctuary is just 10 km east of Balmuri falls.
