Maits Rest rainforest walk is located 17 km west of Apollo bay in Victoria, Australia, on the Great Ocean Road.
It’s one of Victoria’s most visually stunning rain forest walks, almost a km long.
The trail through towering myrtle beech trees – some 300+ years old – with lush greenery and tree ferns around provides an outstanding experience.
Consisting of a mixture of board walk and gravel paths take us along a valley floor that’s part of an ancient rainforest.
