Chaumohalla palace, Hyderabad, Telangana, was the official residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad. Built in mid 18th Century CE under King Salabat Jung (construction started in 1750 CE), it got expanded later in phases.
The palace consists of two courtyards, the grand Durbar hall, fountains and gardens. The magnificent Durbar hall has 19 massive chandeliers of Belgian crystal. Side-rooms house various exhibits, artefacts and Nizams’ personal possessions.
The clock at the main gate has been ticking away for 250+ years!
The palace has a collection of vintage cars used by Nizam kings.
