Hampi – Hoovina Bagilu

Hoovina Bagilu (gate) is located 600 meter south of Underground Siva Temple in Hampi, Karnataka, on the SH 131.

The hefty stone walls have some interesting carvings – especially the sword-fighting ladies.

Once a prominent gate for the walled city, Hoovina Bagilu is currently in ruins, in an isolated corner.
