Corning Glass Museum, possibly the largest Glass Museum in the world, is located in Corning, 105 miles south of Rochester, New York, USA.
Founded in 1951, the Museum is dedicated to the art, history and science of glass – It has a collection of more than 50,000 glass objects, some over 3,500 years old!
Being the world’s foremost library on glass, the Museum also conducts well narrated glass working demonstrations.
Situated close to finger lake region, the drive to Corning takes us through lakes, streams, forests, rolling hills, wine yards and beautiful landscapes!
