Vasantha Vallabharaya Temple is located in Vasanthapura, 14 km south of MG Road, Bengaluru.
Located on a small hillock, the current structure is said to have been built during Chola times (1000+ years ago). The temple is ancient, said to have been consecrated by Rishi Mandavya.
Centuries-old Bhavani Shankara temple is right next door. And so are the Mariamma temple and Sri Anjaneya temple.
Vasanthapura Pushkarini (temple tank) is quite large and recently restored.
ISKCON Sri Rajadhiraja Govinda Temple is nearby.
