Mount Damper falls, north Island, New Zealand is located 36 km north of Whangamōmona.
At 74 meters high, Mount Damper Falls is one of the highest in the North Island. From the car park, it’s awalk over a km through the trail beside a creek. The track at the fall descends gradually to two viewing platforms.
It’s off the Forgotten World Highway (SH 43), a scenic road that runs 148 km from Stratford to Taumarunui that contains the only unsealed portion of the New Zealand state highway network!
