Markandeya hills is located near Vokkaleri, 65 km east of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The Shiva temple on top of the hill is built thousands of years ago and renovated in 15th century CE. It’s motorable to the top.
Rishi Markandeya is said to have meditated here.
