Manchanabele Dam is located 36 km west of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Built across river Arkavathi, one of the tributaries of Kaveri, the dam provides drinking water to Magadi town and for irrigation purposes.
The reservoir has water spread area of 365 ha. with storage capacity of 34.58 Million Cubic Meters.
