Kolar – Kolaramma

Kolaramma temple located in Kolar, Karnataka is built in Dravida Vimana Style dating to Ganga period (3^rd – 11^th Century CE).

Later, Cholas and Vijayanagara kings renovated and expanded the temple in the 11^th Century and 15^th Century, respectively.

Several inscriptions are available in the temple in Tamil and Kannada starting from year 1012 CE.

Someshwara temple, built in 11^th century CE, is a short-walk away.
