Madhangeeswarar Temple, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu is located 1 km south-east of Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple.
Built in 8th century CE by Pallava King Narasimhavarman II, it’s considered one of the finest surviving examples of early Pallava architecture.
Constructed with sandstone, the Temple features a compact and elegant design with exceptional sculpturing all around.
The exterior walls are a demonstration of ancient stone carving skills, featuring majestic Yali pillars and high-relief sculptures.
