Achyutaraya bazaar Pushkarani is located at the end of Achyutaraya Temple bazaar, Hampi.
Built around 1534 CE and considered to be one of the most elegant ones in Hampi, the Pushkarani has a rectangular pillared pavilion at the centre.
Typical of Vijayanagara architecture, the tank is surrounded by beautiful rows of pillars and decorative arcade. Well-laid stone steps allowed people to get into water easily.
The pushkarinis of Hampi were connected to an extensive network of stone aqueducts and canals channeling fresh water from the Tungabhadra River.
