Someshwara Temple, Dambal, Karnataka, located 53 km west of Koppal, is a 11th century CE marvel built by Western Chalukyan kings.
Located just across the road from Doddabasappa temple, the Someshwara temple was built around 1070 CE, during the Someshwara II reign.
The mandapa has lathe-turned and carved pillars. The outer walls are well-finished and in good shape.
