Gagan Mahal, Anegundi is located on the other side of river Thungabhadra from Hampi, Karnataka.
Built in 16th century CE, the palace survived the destruction to some extent. With four towers, decorated balconies and arched windows, the palace was constructed for royal family members.
The palace had a pool and a smart water distribution system (similar to Kamal Mahal, Hampi) that kept the interiors cooler during summer.
