Anekal -

Thimmaraaya Swamy temple Anekal, Karnataka, is an ancient one, located 35 km south of Bengaluru.

The current structure in Vijayanagara style is built in 16^th Century CE. The Balaji pratishta here has a Swayambhu form and the deity form too.

The temple is well known for its annual fair and Karaga Utsava.

Muthyala Maduvu (Pearl Valley) and Channakesava temple (at Haragadde) are closeby.
