Yelagiri is located 24 km south of Vaniyambadi, and 70 km east of Krishnagiri, Tamilnadu.
Swamimalai trek, one of the must-do treks in Yelagiri, offers beautiful view of the hills and valleys. Swamimalai peak at an altitude of 4,340 ft is the highest point in Yelagiri.
There’s a Shiva temple at the top. The 2.5 km (one-way) trek is easy to moderate, and takes around 1.5 hours to go up.
