The Yoga Madhava Temple, Settikere, Karnataka is located 70 km west of Tumakuru, and 147 km north-west of Bengaluru.
Built in 1261 CE during the times of Hoysala King Narasimha III, it’s trikuta (3 shrines) temple with Single Shikhara (tower).
The temple has all standard features of the Hoysala architecture – such as Mukha Mantapa, Maha Mantapa, Navaranga, Sukhanasi (vestibule), Garbhagriha, Ornamented walls and lathe-turned pillars – perched on Jagati (raised platform).
