Hidimba Devi Temple, Manali, Himachal Pradesh, is located in Dhungri, Old Manali area.
This ancient cave temple is dedicated to Hidimba Devi, wife of Bhima (Mahabharata). The current structure, that is 24 meters high, was built in 1553 CE by Maharaja Bahadur Singh.
The temple is surrounded by Deodhar trees.
The temple is built around a cave where Hidimba Devi is said to have meditated. The wood work including the carvings around the wall is magnificent.
