Gayatri Mandir is located 7 km south of Manali, at Jagatsukh, Himachal Pradesh.
The Gayatri temple is said to have been 5,000 plus years old; Pandavas (of Maha Bharatha) are supposed to have offered prayers here.
The temple has a unique design and stunning woodwork.
There is also a Shiva temple behind the Gayatri temple, that is quite old.
