Located 16 km east of Kumarakom, Kerala, Kumaranalloor Karthyayani devi temple is said to be more than 2400 years old.
The architecture of the temple is unique with the nalambalam and sreekovil (Garbhagriha) built in sreechakra style.

The temple grew under Chera rulers, later under Champakassery and Thiruvithamkur kings.
