Hampi - Malpanagudi Stepwell

Hampi – Malpanagudi Stepwell

Malpanagudi Stepwell (Kuparama Vatike) is located in Malpanagudi village, on the Hospet – Hampi road.

The octagonal, multi storied step well has a series of steps leading to water. From the road it may look like a simple Mantapa structure – but once we get in, we get to see the large, beautiful, symmetric structure.

It is said to have been built in 1405 CE.
