Anjaneya Temple, Halasuru in Bengaluru is established in early 16th century CE by Sri Vyasaraya of Vijayanagara.
The deity is 9 feet tall. Renovated in recent times, the temple is located in the crowded bazaar street.
Sri Vyasaraja, the Rajaguru during Sri Krishnadevaraya’s times, is said to have established 732 Anjaneya temples across South India. And Anjaneya Temple, Halasuru is one of them.
