Fitzroy Falls is located 140 km south-west of Sydney, Australia, in the northern precinct of Morton National Park.
At Fitzroy Falls water plunges over 80m to the valley below. When we visited the flow was minimal for some reason.
The valley view from the lookout is spectacular. As we stood there, the mist melted away, opening up the gorges and the valley view for us.
The visitor centre offers insights into the history of the region with Aboriginal Cultural walks. The east rim and west rim walks provide well-marked walking tracks to experience the area.
Driving through southern highlands is an experience to cherish! From Fitzroy falls, one could take Jamberoo mountain road down to Kiama, that’s scenic, curvy and steep.
