Sonna Vannam Seitha Perumal Temple, also known as the Yathothkari Perumal Temple, Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu is located 3 km south of Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple.
One of the three oldest Vishnu temples in Kanchipuram, and one of the 108 Divya Desams, its history dates back to the Sangam period (300 BCE to 100 CE).
The current structure is built by Pallavas during the late 8th century CE. The Temple features a Raja gopuram and a unique Vedasara Vimana above the Garbha griha. Over the centuries, it was developed and renovated by Chola kings and Vijayanagara rulers, who added ornamented pillared mandapams and the grand entrance way.
The place is significant also as the birthplace of Poigai Alvar.
