Sri Adhi Kamakshi temple, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, is located on the north-western side of Main Kamakshi Amman Temple.
The Temple is considered the original seat of Kamakshi Amman and said to be more than 2500 years old. The current structure is built during Pallava times between 6th and 7th century CE, and renovated from time to time.
Temple features classical Dravidian architecture with carved pillars and mandapams.
