Wellington

Wellington, capital of New Zealand, is located at the south-end of north island.

A compact city, it encompasses a waterfront promenade, sandy beaches, commercial district, a harbour, and greenery all around.

The Botanic garden opened in 1868 has 25 hectares of beautiful vegetation space with an impressive collection of a wide variety of plants, trees, and flowers.

The Cable car, commissioned in 1902, takes us from Lambton Quay up the hills to Kelburn through an enjoyable ride, offering spectacular views.

Te Papa Museum at the waterfront, and Mount Victoria lookout are the other attractions in the city.
