John Sullivan Memorial is located at Kannerimukku, 35 km east of Ooty.
John Sullivan (1788 – 1855) was an English civil servant, the first to settle in Ooty. He was instrumental for bringing tea cultivation to the district.
The John Sullivan Memorial was once his residence, known as the Pethakal Bungalow.
