Located 62 km north-west of Bengaluru, Karnataka, Mandaragiri, (also known as Basadi Betta) houses 4 Jain basadis on top of the hill.
2 temples from 12th century CE are dedicated to Thirthankaras Chandranatha and Chandra Prabhu; and 2 from 14th century CE are dedicated to Parshwanatha and Suparshwanatha.
450+ steps carved on the rocky hill takes us to the top. The hill-top offers beautiful views of hills, fields, plains and lake Maidala.
Foot hill has pinchi-shaped 81-feet tall Guru Mandir dedicated to Shri Shanti Sagara, and a tall statue of Thirthankara Chandranatha.
