The Vilakkoli Perumal Temple, Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu, is located 2 km south of Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple.
Being one of the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Deepa Prakasar (a form of Vishnu), the current structure was built by Pallavas in 8th century, expanded by Cholas in 10th century, and later by Vijayanagara rulers and Ahobila Mutt.
Walls and pillars are ornated with intricate bas-reliefs and carvings.
