Seema Malaka, which translates to ‘the floating temple’, is a Buddhist Temple in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Situated in the Beira Lake, the current structure was built in 1976 in place of an old temple. The design was inspired by the ancient monasteries of Anuradhapura.
The temple is constructed on three platforms over water.
A quaint place!
