Surya Mandir, Prabhas Patan, Gujarat is located near Triveni Sangam, 1 km east of Somnath Temple.
It is believed that Pandavas stayed here during their exile. Pandava Gufa (cave) is adjacent to Surya Mandir.
Current structure is built around 14th century CE. Temple is replete with intricate carvings, sculptures and stone work.
Surya Kund (step-well kind) is attached with the temple. Sri Ram Mandir, Kamnath Mahadev Mandir, Sharada Math, Triveni Sangam, Golok Dham and Gita Mandir are nearby.
